Timing belt rubbing/making a sound after changing it.
So I changed my timing belt a few days ago, it did take a while but I did everything correctly and it fired right up. all timing marks are in place, everything torqued to specs. I drove it around and noticed my serpentine belt was rubbing against the timing cover, it was a bit loose. so I fixed it and right after that I got a new sound. It's sort of a ticking/vibrating sound. took off all the timing covers again to check timing and everything is in order. I did however notice that the timing belt is shifted left towards the engine itself. I moved it back towards the outside on the pulleys, cam gears and crank gear. it sounds better for a short while but then it slides back towards the engine. I'm assuming that's the culprit but I could be wrong. how do I keep the timing belt from sliding back?
The reluctor wheel is the metal wheel that works with the crank positioning senor right? After I moved the belt and started the car the timing belt slides back and basically rubs against that wheel. if I shine a light between it and the timing belt no light comes through the crack.

Sorry stupid question, the car wouldnt have even started. Any way.
The belt on top doesnt look too far back. Does it have rubbing marks?
Maybe the old belt was wider? And the reluctor wheel cant be upside down cause it wouldnt start i think.
Maybe if you add a little more tension?
