Diff bushings are super easy since they are on a bracket that is easily removable. The mustache bar requires a deeper part removal.

So no way to remove the mustache bar or replace the bushing on it without dropping the whole rear diff?

So you took the mustache bar out without taking anything else out? Or no?

That is interesting. I could swear I couldn't get the mustache bar to come out with the small space between the body and subframe. Maybe I just didn't try hard enough LOL

When I did it I replaced diff and mustache bar bushings...it's been a while since I did it so don't remember specifics but I know for a fact I held the diff with a jack while I pulled everything off...axles still in I pulled the mounts and lowered the diff enough to get mustache bar off...use a press to push out bushings...it'll will save you a lot of time...

But the mustache bar isn't held in by the diff. it's trapped on either end by the subframe. Check AMS's instructions. I have no idea how you did it.

It's been a long time...maybe i unbolted the subframe? I know for a fact the only thing I removed from the car was mustache bar and mounts...I have to get under there and see what everything looks like again...i know it was pretty self explanatory...I didn't look at any instructions just got under there and used common sense...just have to get under there and do it...

It's extremely straight forward which is why I'm so baffled on how to do it with the subframe in place.
