Hello everyone,
I am in the process of building a Long Rod 2.4. the shop called me and told me that my stock evo 9 oil pick up line doesn't fit the evo 9 oil pan.
they told me that the oil pan sticks up about an inch off the block. does anybody know what could be the problem or if i need a different oil pick up line? please help me out as soon ans you guy can i would appreciate it the shop is waiting for my word to see if they should modify the stock evo 9 pick up line to make it fit. thanks in advance.

So just to clarify, a shop built you a 2.4LR, a 4G64, and are trying to put an Evo 9 oil pick up tube and oil pan on it?

It's a 4g64 with Evo 9 head and yes that's how they built 2.4 Evo engine I have confirmed with few reputable shops.

I assumed it would have more differences. After looking at pictures it really does not. Couple slight differences. I would reach out to the shops/vendors here who are known for their 2.4LR's
