Hey everyone, after being a long time lurker and my first post I wanted to ask if anybody has any good recommendations for a local shop thats priced fairly and has a good reputation to take my trans out of my 06 evo 9 mr to fix it. Last night coming home I got the infamous 6th gear lock out and can not shift into 6th at all. The trans shifts smooth from 1-5 but I have no 6th. I wasnt beating on it just taking my time and hopped on the highway tried to hit 6th and it wont even budge into 6th so I'm looking for a shop that can take it out and fix it for me local to me. I live in cincinnati Ohio. I called around and had a shop qoute me $1750 just in labor, that included taking it out, splitting the case and finding the issue and to fix it but that price was not for any possible parts that will need bought and replaced. Any help or suggestions, I will be very thankful for. Before someone bashes me about not using the search button, I did and couldnt find what I'm looking for hence my 1st post on here.
