And yeah, if this wasnt gonna pan out I wasnt even going to bother anymore
Just too many kids offloading their garbage as if we couldnt figure it out
Gonna start prototyping weighted shift knobs for this car now
My small company I started a bit ago make weighted knobs

Not trying to hack your thread OP but just because I'm also on the market for a 05 or 06 Evo MR( preffereably) I wanted to ask everyone here why the prices of evos vary so much.
I've been in the market for a while now and in no hurry to purchase one so at the same time I'm doing my research and also looking all over the country to compare prices. With that said the value of KBB is way off from the prices I see people post their evos for sale. I also compare market prices and that's how I figure out what I'm going to offer.
My problem is that people are either asking crazy money for their evos or they actually do sell for those prices. No offense to anyone here because I do believe evos are great cars all around but for 30+ Grand for a build evo is crazy.
Again sorry OP if I hacked your thread but I'm in the same boat and want to make sure I find the right evo for me. Don't want to get screwed and overpay for an evo because seeing the market for evos it is very easy to do even if you're experienced.

05 has the ACD, and 06, was Mivec, those have a lot of value on their own

they just sell, I think anything over 35k + for a supra/gtr with over 150k miles is crazy but hey it's market value people are willing to pay. you can throw the kbb out the window at that point. I see evo 8/9 going for 30k+ all the time and the people calling it crazy are powerless to stop it..as a certain iconic car becomes rare and in demand price going up nothing we can do to stop that. it's not 2010 anymore they're not nearly as common (not like they ever really were).

Sure I can see some value added to the car but 10-20k+ is crazy.
I've seen at least 8 evo 8s & 9s in the 30k+ for the last 8 months and they are still for sale. That should tell you something if you are the seller.
