Holding out just because its not a mr?!?
Holding out just because its not a mr?!?
As you all can see, I'm relatively new to this forum. With that said, I made a post earlier about if anyone was selling but here's my dilemma. I have found two that fit my criteria, one being an MR edition, one being a standard edition
Now the standard edition is the cleanest 9 I've ever saw. 19k miles and literally all OEM. Now of course, they're listing it for 30k which seems steep for a base model IMO.
The second one I found IS a MR but has 65k miles and is much cheaper. Now I'm a stubborn person and I'm looking for advice from you guys. Is it stupid of me to hold out just because it's not a MR?! (Yes I'm aware the 6spd is weaker than the 5, I'm not building a track car though)
ANY feedback will be greatly appreciated!

If you're not looking to thrash the thing at a track or drag strip, and use it mostly for DD duties, cruises and the occasional spirited driving I see no reason why you wouldnt save the dollars and get the MR.
That's just my humble opinion. You will know which ones is right for you, factoring in mods/miles/color/price etc.

get the MR
I personally love keeping cars for a long time and I also don't mind paying more being an older guy so I would bargain for the low mileage one then fall back to the MR if its in good general condition too

Thanks to everyone and their responses, for real.
I'm speaking with this guy about this one. Would love some feedback from you guys?!
I planned on not getting one over 50k but 55k isn't too much over. After conversing with the guy, he seems about as legit as they come.

Heavy-duty race clutch upgrade (sorry don't remember the make, Carz did the work when the original failed around 15k miles).-
28.5 seems steep for that car.
He upped the price to $30,500. I agree even $28k is a little steep for this car. Should also ask the owner for any engine bay pictures and engine mods, if there are any. Also ask if all VIN numbers are matching. Definitely do a pre purchase inspection before pulling the trigger.
