What would be a fair labor rate for this work?

Boost leak/compression/leakdown test
Headgasket and head studs install (I understand timing belt comes off for this)
Fuel pump install
Spark plugs and wires install
Install injectors

Cams were installed last week by this shop for 250.
What would be reasonable for this work?

I do not have the time to do this work, I know I could save money, but I cannot take the time to do it and need the car working ASAP, some dick stole our minivan so now the Evo is the DD but she needs the work done.

Thanks all

if you're doing a head gasket you should also have the head machined

if your installing injectors and a pump you will also need a retune.

Sorry forgot to mention: This is PRE tune. Heading to BR racing in the next few weeks to finish. Also, I am sending the head to MAP for their Stage 1 service and rebuild. I just want to know what a fair labor price is as I am having a local evo/subie mechanic do the service, and I was just curious. Seems the price he gave me was a good deal if 2k is the quote lolol

I'd say more like 800 if he's just bolting on the fresh head, with the other work you listed. Issue is you'll need a base map at the very least after the injectors, pump, and if upgraded cams are going in the MAP head.

Probably best to have the car towed to Buschur's or have them do the work honestly. But yea you'd def have to get David to send you a base map, maybe even a couple revisions to be able to drive the car more than just a couple blocks.
