Need help appraising Evo IX

How much would you say a 06 Evo 9 12K miles. Electric Blue. 5 speed is worth? She as been in storage for almost 9 Years. 1 owner never accidented. I cant seem to find evos with that low milage.

If I were you, I would send pictures to RightDrive (a shop in our area) for a quick appraisal, maybe also tipping for the work they deserve.

If I were to buy that car, I would be sure to pay like C$150 to have the car fully diagnosed at a Mitsu dealer before I buy.

I know this is kinda hard to appraise , it smells like new inside still it's ridiculous. Hes willing to let the car go at an obscenely low amount. I almost feel bad.

So this is an Evo 4 manufactured in 2006? I think you mean 1996. Does it have active yaw control?

I'd check compression, then if the price is right and you want it, snap it up. If the price is strangely low, then might be stolen.

In the US, it would sell reasonably fast ~$28K. If you are patient you could probably get 30-32K for it. One problem you will run into, is banks wont loan anywhere near that on it. So you are restricted to buyers that have the cash on hand to cover what their bank loan doesn't.

Also, a US buyer would have to pay import tax of 2.5%. That and the potential headaches of importing it will scare away lots of potential buyers.

Its a gem no doubt, but the number of people looking for a collectors example 9, with cash in hand, is smaller than you would think. People with the bucks usually collect higher end autos.

You could always put it up on ebay or bringatrailer.
