only 334whp probably for the margin of safety but really on pump gas it should be at least 400whp with that turbo, however i'm sure the car is capable of at least 550whp on c16

Thanks for the responses guys; a few things that I would like to clarify are that the evo is now making that number on a mustang dyno which is very similar to shiv's dyno dynamics unit in regards to its "low readings." Many locals and customers of MZM already know this but I would simply like to restate this. The fact of the matter is that the car gained about 130 hp after I was done and I simply instructed MZM to not do any agressive tuning until they get the powerexcel program from apexi as they are currently waiting to become one of their certified tuners (which, as far as my knowledge, none of the vendor/tuners on this board are).

All in all, Im happy with the results and I know the only barrier standing in the way of my evo making more horsepower is my own decision to go ahead with more tuning. BTW, the car makes 334 HP on 93 oct. and 17.5 psi.

Do you guys think that Im going with a good price and do you think that anyone would be interested?

Oh yeah, the reason Im selling is cuz of my payments/insurance/can't risk getting more tickets or worse(5 already)/tuition/need to get out of this game. thanks for the posts guys and keep em comin'!

You will make more money in the long run by returning it to stock, and parting out the aftermarket gear. Average Evo want-a-be owner is removed from the equation because he won't be able to get it financed for that price. You will be limiting yourself to people with deep pockets, who would probably prefer to have their own built. Good luck though... Damn, hate to see you let it go. I love mine as a daily driver with only a flash. Could you afford to keep it if you just sold off the aftermarket parts?

I really don't have the money to put it back to stock right now, and I need to get everything sold before the end of May. Thanks for the input Zeus. I understand your point but, do you think that Im requesting a fair price?

It's not a matter of fair, but what the market will bear... Like I said, as is, it will be hard to sell due to it being "modified" and over market value in the eyes of any lenders. It will be next to impossible for average Joe to finance.

Good luck though!

ps Might see if MZM will buy the parts and subtract their "fee" for converting it back to stock...

Yea, im sure you can make more money by parting out parts. I know alot of us here will be interested in ur setup. I think 34K is a good deal, but it's hard for anybody to finance that much cash. Plus, the guy that going to buy your car knows that it is no longer warranty by the dealer. No warranty, heavily modified EVO. That's hard to take with a 34k price tag. I say you part it out. It's alot easier for you to sell the car/trade in. Good luck and give me an email if you decided to part the car. Laterv

It's more of a hassle to sell off the performance parts and then the car..

But these guys are right..

Spend the labor getting it back to stock and sell the parts seperate..More $$$!!

More buyers want a "non-tuned" Evo anyways so they can go there own way in regards to a tuned path..

And then there is the reasoning of "why buy an EVO that may have been abused"..Not saying your's is but it's that mentality sometimes that you may be dealing with..

Good luck..

Your car is awesome!

I get what you guys are saying but just like M3 said; it is very difficult to sell all those parts so I am just hoping that an individual who understands the value of my car comes around.

thanks.
