Cam Angle Sensor Housing Bolt Size - Evo 8

Hey folks, does anyone know the size or part number for the bolt mentioned in post #7 of this thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/evo-engine-turbo-drivetrain/190519-evo-8-cams-fit-evo-6-engine.html

I am putting in a set of Evo 8 cams and just need to get that right bolt so I can drill it out and slap it on.

md368730 This is the bolt. Does anyone know the size?

So your cams are m8 × 1.25 and you need to make it a M10 x1.25.

Thanks, it's the bolt shown in the diagram on this page right? http://www.streettunedmotorsports.com/parts/oem_evo_camshaft_trigger_wheel_bolt_md368730.htm

So is the bolt M10 x 1.25? A post I found on MLR said it is M12 x 1.25.

Yes. Sorry, to clarify: I read on a post on MitsuLancerRegister that the bolt was M12 x 1.25. I cant seem to find it now and I had searched it up on my work computer so I couldn't dig it out of my history.

Found it! Post #12 http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?p=5371863

I just want to know if thats wrong and if it's an M10.

I guess I'll have to. The actual bolt is 7 weeks shipping from Japan through my dealership or a week + from someone like STM/Partsouq. A bolt store should hopefully be able to get me set up.

Hardware store.

If i were you id take the cams to a machine shop to get it done. You dont wana ruin them. They might even be able to tap and provide hardware. Doesnt need to be 10x1.25.

Not saying your not capable of doing it.

Good luck

It's just the trigger housing, which I luckily have a few of. You're probably right that it's best I have someone else do it. Thanks.
