Yes I talk to mark Very frequently. He actually purchased the Turbo from us and he is also going to pick up the Header we are making for our turbo Kit. He is essentially going to run our kit with some little personal touches on his end. Great guy and a really easy person to deal with.

I am sure Martin will come on here to post the Dyno Graph for our EVO. He is like a proud father.

We have a couple 500hp EVO's. Both of them did it on the stock motor. We are in the process of getting the 2.4 in the RnR EVO. It will be a monster on the street. We are shooting for 600whp on turbo and 700whp on the bottle.

RnR racing. What do the think the standard 4G64 crank will take? I assume that you will be installing the whole 4G64 block and attaching the Evo head on it right? Will you run an up rated bottom end (whole assembly) or just the rod and pistons? I ask the last question as some people are already running the 64’s crank in a 63 block (moses in the UK has had 600+ from his I think!!) but they are using up rated rod and pistons only (with a coated crank). I think you will hit 600bhp with no problems as that has been done in the UK using the HKS 3240 so with your better flowing 35R you should have no problems. Moses made that at only 1.7 bar but he had loads of back pressure because of the turbo he was using (3240 soon to be GT35R hehe). Can’t wait to see the torque that you get from it. 2.4ltr and 2 bar + anyone?

We are using the usual set up of Eagle Rods, Wiesco Pistons, polished crank, balanced, blueprinted, etc, etc. Yes, we are going to use a 64 block with a 63 head. This is the first EVO I know of that will have a set up like this.

We plan on running 35psi along with a 100shot.

Mate, if your target is on “only” 700bhp I wouldn’t worry too much about that 100 shot. You car will defiantly be cool. How much torque do you think it will make at 35psi? So lest get this straight, a 700bhp car that will still be drivable and with spool up only a few hundred rpm behind standard, I can’t wait.

Dont hold your breath. There are very few 1000hp 4g63's in existence. It takes a little more then a giant turbo N20 and a bunch of bling to make 1000hp

There are only a handful of 1000hp 4G63's in the world.

Re:

Fellas: with due respect, all the background noise on hp figures should pertain to evos running on pump gas. What are the real hp #s for them, without additives? Excluding fuel enhancers. This is where the reality of this thread should be. running 25lbs of boost with c-16 is not the norm for 95% of the people who own evos as a driver. What realistic hp/tq figures have summized from a properly tuned evo on average premium gasoline? BTW I am swerving on the thread topic, but my question is valid

100oct @ $3.59/gal at the pump here in chicago should make anyone who really can afford an EVO to begin with really think twice about paying $2.15/gal for 93oct that sometimes is good and sometimes not so good...

100oct makes your EVO purrrr!!

with this turbo kit, that would also mean you could safely run about 24-25psi.. which is close to 500whp according to AMS's dyno's..

hello street-monster!!!

Hmmmm

In responce to 100 octane fuel. The dealers near me only have 108-109 octane ul fuel 5.80 something per gallon. It costs close to the price of leaded race gas. Weekend warriors like it, but it's not to thrilling for the average joe
