Dan at Radicals tuner shop in Florence, SC has a 600+ hp EVO. He tunes mine for me, and the man knows everything to know about EVOs. I rode in this beast and it scared the **** out of me. hey LancerEVOmann, where in SC are you located?? Man, I wish I could see that Radical's Evo... it sounds and looks like a beast

 

um.. i'm not so sure that's 600whp (should run better than 11's if it were).. most likely an estimate of crank hp..

it's an hks turbo kit, afterall.. most likely the 3037 kit..

still very nice.. but not the highest hp... not by far..

 

I live in Newberry, SC (between Greenville and Columbia) but Dan's EVO is in Florence, SC and he works at Radicals. His EVO has been in 3 mags so far and he has 3 sponsors. Not to mention the NOPI win last year. If you get a chance you should stop by and talk to him. Dan is super nice and between tuning his own EVO and other ppl's too, he knows everything about them. They also have a 450 hp Porsche that is crazy there too.

 

I haven't seen hardly any other EVO with 600 hp+ yet that are privately owned, if u have let me know so I can check it out...Dan's is by far the fastest car I've ever ridden in...obviously when u say "not by far" u make it sound like there a hordes of EVOs faster than that...where r they?

 

take the 551whp (w/ stock internals) ams evo for example.. if u use an extremely conservative drivetrain loss of 20%.. we're talking 660+hp..

i'm not saying it's not fast.. it is!.. just not the top.. 600whp would mean solid 10's..
