just been blowing off the LICP hose lately so I thought this might work, I have liquid nails some sand paper onto the inside of the T clamp and going to put back on


I used high strength liquid nails and sand paper with cotton material on the back for extra strength.


I also roughed up the back of the stainless so the liquid nails will grip the clip

 

maybe try a different t-bolt clamp?

 

The t-bolt clamp gripping the silicone isn't the issue, it's the silicone sliding off the intercooler pipe.

put hairspray on the pipe then slide the silicone coupler on if you haven't done that already

 

problem with sand paper is its paper. Especially considering this is your LICP its probably not going to survive the elements all to well.

+1 on hairspray, also maybe try actually rough sanding / scuffing your LICP where the coupler slides over for increased friction.

A more permanent trick, is to weld, small water drop size **** on the pipes circumference, just below of the clamp location to keep the clamp in place

Thats what was done to my blow-off hose to intake pipe

 

I've left the clamp for a few days to cure, the sandpaper is cotton backed quite tough the glue is like a rock, I'm going to rough up the rubber and metal pipe and use hair spray, I'm going to give it everything I got captain. This clamp ruined my last track day it aint going to do it again

 

+1 on hairspray. Pantene is what's I use and I've never had a pipe blow off after that switch

Try a smaller clamp and or get the pipes bead rolled.

 

yep; any hair spray will do but gold color always adds HP
