AEM x-series boost gauge

Hey guys!

Just wondering if anyone or know of someone who has a problem with the sensor provided for the gauge and how did you resolve the problem? I seem to have a faulty one and after contacting them, they said I would have to return the whole unit. The only thing is that the whole installation process was a pain in the butt especially running the wires. (a-pillar location) I know its the sensor that's bad too sigh. Thanks!

Can't you just buy a replacement sensor? They are like 75 bucks and good to have as a replacement anyway.

I probably will to save myself the headache of uninstalling everything to send back. It's just the principle of giving faulty sensors. And a new sensor is half the price of the gauge itself, so I just think it's a little wrong ya know?

We checked all the connections and they're fine. And the gauge itself will read and show numbers on start-up and then will just read "Sens" after. Tuner said it happens pretty often with these, but I was just wondering if anyone had any luck with AEM just sending them a new sensor without the hassle.

I run the x series stuff in my car, oil pressure, oil temp, and fuel pressure, and aem net gauge. Do you have a multi meter? I have never seen a bad aem sensor, and I have installed lots of aem gauges on my cars and friends and families cars.

Can you tone out the wires? Did you use the butt plugs? Sensor shoul have +5, ground and signal.
