Remember that age, location and coverages all play a huge, huge role in rates, so your rates may not be indicative of what someone would get in Utah. Or if they chose the highest liability limits and lowest deductibles possible. Or if they were 21.
Unless your prior DUI is still within the chargeable period (which is three years prior in most states except for California where they go back ten years just for DUIs) or if you still need a state filing (i.e. SR-22 or FR-44), then it’s not going to have an effect.

I pay 60 for full coverage on my 06 and with STATE FARM

I would add that the Evo isn't inherently unreliable. Its a very solid car with very few common weaknesses. The biggest I can think of is probably the balance shaft belt. The stock clutch was known to be weak (not that any CT9A's are still running a stock clutch)which was an intentional move by mitsu to help prevent people blowing up the drivetrain from launching. Mostly these cars suffer from what their owners do to them.
