Hey guys I have an aem tru boost gauge that I’ve had on the car since I bought it years ago. Today I washed the car and when I moved it I noticed the gauge is reading .00 and doesn’t do anything. I check the vacuum lines and all and everything looks good. Anyone seen this before? What can I check? Did the gauge take a ****? Maybe solenoid? :sigh: always something...

 

You checked the vacuum line on the gauge? If its still there, unplug it, start the car. If you feel the line "sucking" or making vacuum, then your gauge is dead.

 

Yeah i will check that tomorrow. Im taking it all apart. How can i test the solenoid?

If you don't have any boost leaks. It should still read boost if the solenoid is bad/removed.

 

Yeah i saw that...turned out to be the vacuum line popped off the gauge...
