Brembo Crossoverline HOLE is stripped :(
Long story short, the hole for the crossover line is stripped, I tried to retapped but I dont think it's doing any good
What are my options? Can I bring it to a brake shop and have them try to tap to the next size up? or Something?
I know Ill need a new line made if I do something like that
I picked up this set as a core for powder coating for customers these things were rough, almost every bolt was a pain to take out and then this happens, I was gonna put them on my car, but I cant even get the crossover lines to screw in due to this :-0
Am I out a caliper?

Trashed it.
Get another one.
Spending $300-500 I think is worth than risking you and other's life.
its a brake buddy, safety first.

You can get rebuilt ones with warranty real cheap now. I wanna say they were like $150 or something like that. If it's royally boogered (not just the first few threads etc) and you don't have someone you implicitly trust with your life to repair it, I'd replace it.
Hard to say. You could try to TIG weld the hole up, that may work. Then drill and tap it. I haven't ran into that issue before. That or you buy another used set (unless you can find a single).

Check out rock auto. I got new rear calipers from them and they where around $200 for set shipped after returning my core to them.
Yep exactly the ones that I got where the Centrics about a year ago. Came loaded with pads and all.
