Could be a real Ralliart Evo V/VI speedometer. Rare and expensive if it is. I've never seen one with an 8,200 redline though, so they're probably overlays.
I was just looking at that 2nd link posted and I dont understand these overlays. If you compare the tach that goes up to 10k vs 9k it appears as though the numbers are in the wrong spot. Its as if they just moved the 0 RPM down lower so now the whole tach is off by 1000 RPMS.
I've installed something like that on a bike before. I pulled the needle and put it back in the "0" position. As long as the spacing for the numbers is the same it just travels further. With my new motor and ECU I upped the redline 3K
I havent pulled apart the cluster to see how the needle fits on there. Is it as simple as that or is the needle on our cars like a d shape such that you cant put it on any way you'd like? If it can be moved like that then it works but if not then your whole tach is wrong which is lame IMO. Id love a 10k tach for the ricer within but also new motor rev limiter will be set to like 9400 so I guess its sorta fitting if it can be done properly.
I have white face gauges on mine but with 7K redline and at the time my installers did the gauge faces while I installed the radar LED's so I'm not sure how the needles are set. My RPM and speed do match my VBox well after disassembly/reassembly though
Just found something and confirmed - that would be a REAL RALLIART cluster. Except it's not from an Evo, it's from a CJ4A Mirage, explaining the higher redline. I can't tell you if it would plug right in or not; previous generation Evo/Mirage clusters swapped no problem.
