Question Trunk badge placement on a 9

As title does anyone have the placement measurements for the Mitsi Diamond and Evolution ix badges on the trunk of a 9?
The 7 and 8 are above the press line on the trunk as apposed to the 9 which is below the press line, any help would be appreciated.

Although that looks good, it is not in the correct place for a 9, where that badge is positioned is for the 7 and 8 where it sits just above the boot crease, on the 9 it sits below the crease. Thanks for your time though appreciated

As you can see it is below the crease on the trunk here on a 9

But above the crease on a 7 and 8

So eyeball it? it's not hard to guess if it's an inch or two inches below that crease

The Evo 8 MR JDM manual I have does not have that info in it, just the standard mitsu symbol and lancer evolution badge in the lower corner

Looks like I will have to guestimate it, I did get the official Mitsubishi measurements a few years back on the MLR, but the MLR is not as informative now as it used to be back then.
The measurements and badges you posted are how they came into the UK also nbut were GSR. Evolution and the transformation to FQ took place here in the UK

Is there any info on the proper OEM placement of the SE special edition badge for US cars?

@empunker Yeah, the manual just doesnt cover that particular emblem (at least in my manual) Too rare?

Heres a couple of pics showing what appears to be OE placement? Tape measure & a good eyeball will probably get ya there

Here's how the body shop installed and aligned my SE badge. It looks to be about 1" from the bottom of the trunk edge and from the pics posted by Joe it appears factory should be about only 1/2" from the bottom. Also it looks like the very right edge of the SE badge lines up vertical with the key hole (where the key gets inserted).

Ive done many decal / emblem installs. If Empunker is concerned about the placement, do a wet install

Clean the area w/Iso alcohol. Spray the trunk area w/soapy water & place the emblem. Move around as necessary until satisfied

You can let dry in the sun or hit it w/a heat gun / blow dryer to set. Wet applications work well & once set are just as adhered as if installed dry
