How to remove Evo 8 MR shift knob

Hi, I just got the Ralliart shift knob but I can't remove the old one (6 speed). I tried hard, I made it twist but it didn't unscrewed.. Help me please !

I don't believe they have a set screw but pretty sure they just unscrew.

Get a firm grip on it and turn counter clockwise, it will break loose!

Mine spun right off but was very tight i used a pliers with a leather glove around the teeth so it didn't dig into it.
