Recently I purchased a mishimoto 3.5" intercooler and bought an injen licp from a friend of mine for my 8. Neither came with any new couplers. Will the stock couplers still do the job? I dont plan on pushing anymore than 24psi within the near future. If I needed to I would get the stm couplers. Thanks.

 

If the angles are correct, yes. Stock IC comes off at an angle and most aftermarket IC's have straight piping into the IC

 

Yes, it should work as long as the new intercooler lines up like the stock one.
I would switch the OEM worm gear clamps for T-bolt clamps though.

 

Just an update, the stock couplers did work with the mishimoto intercooler. They didnt fit perfectly but still work.
