my engine is leaking oil thru the valve cover gasket. oil all over the block.
its hard to find evo 5 gaskets in our country. most are from evo 7-8.
can i use evo 7-8 gasket in my evo 5?
i will also replace spark plug gasket. any more gasket need to replace on the top?

 

The only difference I know of is over the years the gasket material has greatly improved.

 

Evo 4-8 Valve covers all interchange so the gaskets should be the same. The 9 is different though I believe.
