Don’t go to Stealership

Went to get my drive train fluids changed. I was (&#128514 to exit to my fiancé work and herd something let go under the hood. Arrived at her job and seen fluid leaking out under the car. Came home and found what’s in the photo. Sad thing is had a appointment at 2pm and didn’t get out till 5pm before Christmas that week and this happened on my transfer case

Very true but the reason I went was to get it done the first time right after I had got the x in order for it to a fresh clean start kno what I mean

So, did you call them yet to see if they'll take care of it? They're not a stealership until they refuse to fix the problem they caused.

yup they ordered wrong part which was last Friday now I gotta wait till Saturday. They want me to toe it to them so they can fix it but might not get it back till Monday. Deciding if I should pick the part up Saturday but the techs go home at 2. They say they usually get there truck at 11 on Saturday but like I said they might not get it back till Monday. And yes they will take care of all of it just sayin stealership because they’re stealing my time with my X.

Hopefully not enough fluid escaped to damage the Tcase. I would be more concerned with that.

Just decided not calling tow truck doin this shihh myself. I need three more jacks tho and a pump. I need to drive the X really bad

You need to let the dealer handle it so if the tcase blows up/starts whining in a few weeks from being run low on fluid, its their problem. If you fix it yourself, you're removing all liability from them.

I might just take your advice I’m just super pissed cause of situation. I just feel they should of did it right the first time

nope it wasn’t when it let go while I was driving on the hw all I herd was booom shicki shicki. Lol it’s up and running now feels like new hopefully no winning noise happens.
