I'm going to look at an evo 8 in the next couple of weeks. The car is being sold nearly stock. I've noticed in the pictures though that theres heat marks on the rocker cover. I'm not sure if it's maybe been from an after market manifold. Has anyone seen this before?

That might also be from a o2 hood dump also just a thought

 

Looks like a JDM setup with the anti lag thing on the manifold, maybe something from that leaking?

 

Thanks for the replies! Never thought about a hood dump, I guess there's a few things it could be then.
