Was just curious if this is an outdated ignition system? I have been having WOT stutters/hesitations changed the plugs 3 times now NGK ILFR7H gapped .20

Would switching to a spoolinup system solve this? or should I look into doing a boost leak test first?

I used to run one of those, they seem to go bad over time . Mine went bad on me and heard it was actually common with the unit, I was getting the same issues with wot hesitation, so I disconnected and just ran stock ignition and problem was gone.
i would just get a good cop system.

 

thanks for the reply, did you run a mini battery? it seems if my mini odyssey battery is on its way out the HKS performs like crap. I am thinking I should just go with a spoolinup COP and upgrade to a full size to the trunk or something

 

Yeah I’m running a mini Odyssey battery , I run the Sparktech cop kit with no issues but I have my battery on a tender all the time so battery is always fully charged. ( car is not my dd) Good luck!
