I have not been able to find any experienced builders but I know that someone has done quite a few GTA automatic to Manual transmission conversions among other work.

Tricky here because CT9A was never sold in Canada and the DSM scene was never USA level so 4G63T masters are rare. Sucks to live in the rotted pit of the global car market buuuut...where are you? Racing Greed is competent, Garage 5 but they don't haz dyno. Rocket Rally in Squamish.
Or you go over border to English...if you can...

Where can I buy that 900+ octane fuel to use as a booster in regular pump gas. The place I heard about starts with a J and is in Chilliwack or somewhere out there. That would work fantastic until my 22,000km warranty runs out. Then I will unleash the beast with either a turbo or a supercharger or maybe both ten years from now like what they did to the 1.8t VW block. They put both a turbo and a super charger on it and now its used for towing in heavy SUVs.

I can't wait to build an original golf with awd. Even stock they're lighter than a Lotus Elise and it is easy to find one with the awp 1.8t 180hp engine that you can tune to 240hp/260ftlbs of torque roughly while still running completely stock gear and gas! I wouldn't of bought my Evo if they sold the 4 motion Jetta's here but that would of sucked because Evolutions are amazing. It is like riding on a motoecross quad when you're going straight, not like you're in a bath tub like most cars including later evos. I bet the Evo 6 feels even more like that.

These cars are magical and really amazing. My GTA is full of little surprises because there is not a ton of legit info on them. I don't know if the previous owner of my GTA did only one mod to the whole car and that being an increased turning radius or if that was just another GTA feature. I also wonder what the difference and reasoning behind the suspension geometry change. .

I am in the lower mainland but I don't have my passport right now. I am going to be at the Subaru club rally this weekend in Squamish so I will check out Rocket Rally. The guys at Evolution Auto which ironically doesn't work on Evos anymore suggested English racing in Washington state.

Anyone know of in person tuning classes around British Columbia? I have a Jetta I could eventually practice on but I want to do it right not just be some kid who got it to work great until I add a muffler and change one thing then.... kaboom!

True...but what if, oh say, you maybe had a bit of a dodgy past and USA is bit uptight about letting you come spend your money? Even if RACECAR!

Luckily I don't but I also need a new passport. I found some decent octane booster but will look for better stuff. I have a years warranty so I will wait until I can change the cams and turbo before I get it tuned. I am actually enjoying the automatic transmission for rally cross and also so others can drive it easier. I am going to do my best and practice tuning on my Jetta. I have a year to learn to tune and I am not looking for absolute peak numbers so I think I will be alright, it is disappointing that there is not more resources for this car but it also keeps *******s away lol.
