Bent intercooler

So I damaged my intercooler yesterday...

what can I do about this?

It'll be hard to get it round again, but you can try banging it out with a ball peen hammer. Or find a fab guy to cut the outlet off and weld a new one on.

Yea. They make a pipe expander tool that’s round with a bunch of fingers and as you ratchet on it the fingers expand out equally. Would likely make it a bit more round.

Though if if it were mine I’d do as said above to have a fab shop cut it off and have a new inlet tube welded back on. You can even purchase pre beaded end tubing from Vibrant.

yeah you should be able to fix that pretty easy actually. Take the largest round object you can fit inside of it and tap it with a hammer to round the end back out. We fix those all the time here and you can get them pretty close to back to round with some patience.

Yep what Michael said. it does take some time and you have to work gently with the hammer. Right size object helps tremendously
