Black Interior
Black Interior
Took apart the interior and planning on doing a black upper part of the car
what needs to be done
- roof
- sunvisors
- sun roof
- pillars
i was looking at suede but I want to go for that lambo material on everything without it looking tacky when you touch suede.
any opinions on other options to make it look great?

Hi, i wasnt going to comment but since you havent had any responses, i thought id try to help out.
I bought my evo with the interior done in black as you describe. However, it looks like everything was painted black, including the headliner.
The headliner doesnt feel great (kind of rough texture) but i like the way it looks. And over the years, there has been very little paint that has been rubbed off. Headliner, pillars, visors, and sunglass holder were all painted. I like it and looks good to me so i never changed it.
My suggestion is this: follow the theme of the interior which is already cheap looking. What i mean by that is make subtle changes that go with whats there. And if you can, experiment with something that removes easily incase you dont like it.
Ive never been a fan of modifying the interior of cars, but when done right, can make it look much better and clean even if its still cheap looking.
Hope that helps!
