Intercooler Spray button disasembly

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has taken apart the Intercooler spray button on the Evo8/9 (shown below)?. My button doesn't work, so i just assumed it was broken. I parked in the sun on a hot day and it seems to have melted whatever was blocking the button from moving.

Just wanted to know how it opens up so i can clean it out or if you have any tips on cleaning out whatever is behind there let me know. I have removed it from the centre console already

Thanks

Out of curiosity, do you have a part number for it?

I ended up opening it by 2 clips on the side. Cleaned it with Autoglym Interior Shampoo, interior brush, isopropyl alcohol and compressed air. Feels like it has done the trick. Hands were covered in brown sludge (I dont want to know what it was). I haven't tested it yet, will report back when I have tested it

I don't have a part # but the brown sludge is soda or coffee. The new cars with buttons everywhere on the counsel mixed in with cup holders are searching for disaster.
