washing the intercooler
i finished washing my car and finished waxing it off with zaino, but a question came up. is it ok to spray the intercooler with tap water? i read that tap water builds minerals and makes the intercooler less efficient. i sprayed the intercooler for a while to wash off the bugs and dirt, but i didnt really notice what i was doing until i finished waxing my car. i think my intercooler is a little flooded inside as well, now that i think about it, unless there are like small openings for water to leak through. exactly what is the best way to wash/clean the intercooler?
but then again, when it starts to rain, nastier water gets inside the intercooler, so im assuming its perfectly ok to spray the intercooler to wash it.

thanks, i was pretty worried for some time. i powerwashed the intercooler pretty darn close though, but luckily, when i checked, none of the fins were bent.
i also realized that i think i zaino'ed my spoiler wrong. i see lots of water spots and its pretty hard to remove even when i exhale on them to wipe it off. when i touch it, its not smooth at all. rawr!!
