I only have 1 key and 1 key fob for my car.

I've been reading up and it seems like I need 2 keys already programmed to the car to get another one otherwise I have to go to a dealer to get a key made. Is that correct?

I won't be daily driving the car, is it true I can just get rid of the immobilizer using the EcuFlash and if so can I then just get any regular key cut?

 

You can call a locksmith and he can make you a copy of the key. It will be alot cheaper than the dealer.

 

Yes: disable immobilizer, make cheap keys.
