Hey all,

I'm new to the forum and to Evo's in general and just wanted to say hey. I just picked up an 03 Evo and i'm in the process of rebuilding it. I'm an old school gearhead that comes from a small block chevy/ LSx and subaru background. I'm on a few FB groups but that is more for buying and selling things it seems. I always found that forums had better actual knowledge and subject matter. Being that this is my 1st evo, I hope to learn a lot from the forum.

And make a build thread to track your progress and give us all joy. Of course you'll get into other builds and see all the deep pocket parts and get all jelly n feel like a peasant! Or that could just be me...

 

Hey. I don't even know how to post pics on the forums anymore. haha. The last one i was on was nasioc for subarus and that was back in 08.... damn i'm getting old. The build is already starting out expensive as the motor threw a rod on the drive home from buying it. I saw it coming though so i wasn't surprised. I have a 2.3 about to be built since i just got the engine out yesterday. Gonna send the trans out for a rebuild while its out too. Might as well throw on a new turbo too. haha.so i'm in for 8k on day one. Good times..

 

You for sure need to do a thread! Pics are easy to post...well, from a computer, don't ask me how on a phone. Just right click the image and copy then paste it into the little pic upload thing. For sure there's a more ninja way to do it. I am not that kind of ninja. For sure a mod will help.
