Good afternoon, Can anyone help me find the JDM/UK/Canadian version of the "Evolution" emblem instead of the "lancer" emblem in the factory cluster. A part number would be great.
Rexspeed sells their own version but its slightly different then the OEM version. Thanks

That font matches the one on OEM USDM badge as well as OEM console badges in multiple markets. I guess I never looked at the JDM version so closely to notice the difference.

 

Black Cat Custom sells custom overlays. Maybe they'll just sell you that one piece?

 

Did some more digging and the part number is mn151485. The font is different then what came in these cars but it seems like the only inexpensive option.

 

If you can't find this part and want one of these made I highly suggest black-cat automotive. I have spoken with the owner several times and he's helped me make parts for several cluster and interior lighting projects. I've always been very happy with the results and his products/work.

 

Just a heads-up, there's no use calling Canadian dealerships on this one. Evos were never officially imported to Canada or sold new by dealerships until the Evo X.

 

You might have pretty good luck on yahoo auctions japan and buying a damaged japanese cluster. There are importers that can help you get it into the US.

 

you're right I just noticed that after looking at my trunk lol. Makes sense with rexspeed now. But anyone who does the center trunk badge emblem will have the JDM font.

 

have you used his products on the evo?

how is durability and how hard is it to take off the needles and put them on properly on the evo?
