R-Spec Performance oil temp sensor for factory guage
I thought i would share my experience with the sensor that is advertised to work with the factory oil temp guage on various evos. I installed the sensor and the guage at operating temp is reading 55degC. I think it should be reading 90-115degC. When i asked the supplier what could be the problem they assured me that each sensor is tested before shipping. The sensor may work correctly with other evo guages, but doesnt seem work with my MR guage, even though they list the 9 in their listing. They also specifically say Ralliart guages, I dont know if the MR guage is Ralliart.
Well it looks like it was a pipe dream wishing to have the factory guage working again.
If any has had any luck with this product I'd love to know.
