USDM Mirage/Lancer, JDM Evo 1-3 body & chassis parts interchangeability

Hi:

Was wondering if any body parts from a USDM Mirage/Lancer are a direct swap for the JDM Evos 1-3?

Specifically the glass, front and back. I dont need it now but after breaking the window on my wife's car from a flying rock on the freeway, it got me wondering.

I have tried partsouq.com to pull part #s but the USDM year and model menu is unclear....what I should be looking for for a potential USDM equivalent for a 1994 JDM Lancer Evo 2?

Yes, Mitsubishi Mirage glass is the same, it's fundamentally the same chassis. Something 1993-1995 would be correct.

A 94/95 mirage is the best car to use for an 1-3 conversion. When replacing the front you'll need everything. Fenders, hood, bumper and lights as the fenders are different and dont fit the lights right.

The Evo fenders are indeed wider. If you put an Evo bumper on Mirage fenders, it won't match and will look awful. As well, the old VIS Evo III style bumpers were made for Mirage fenders and are not a suitable replacement for an Evo. Structural stuff is mostly the same between Mirage and Evo though, with the exceptions of shock tower reinforcement, LHD vs RHD firewall and of course the AWD-specific mounts in the rear.
