04 evo 8 quarter panel rust

Hello all like the title says I have a 2004 Evo 8 that has the infamous quarter panel rust on the right side and while not apparent it probably has it on the left side as well. I am in the Queens,NY area and am looking for a body shop that can repair this for me and possibly other body dins and dents around the car. I would like to get this car back to it former glory and there is a long road ahead but if anyone can recommend a body shop that's reputable and I can trust with this sort of work I would really appreciate it. Obviously I know it will not be a cheap repair but if I can get an estimate and know exactly what prices I'm looking at for what I need that would help me immensely. Thanks.

Before you go spending a bunch of money fixing that, how does the underneath look? If the quarters are that bad I'd hate to see the rear subframe. I know, cuz I've been there.

the whole bottom of the car has rust. I haven't seen any major holes in frames but I'm sure there's going to be some hidden damage due to rust. Regardless I am keeping the car until the wheels fall off so I would like to get it all fixed up. What was the resolution to your rust problems? Hopefully some good news to report.

My fenders weren't that bad but one side did need the damage cut out. Yours will definitely need to be cut out and patched with sheet metal at a minimum. I have no idea what you'd be looking at as it will depend on the shop and what they charge for that type of rust repair and if they'll even touch it without requiring that you replace the whole quarter panel. I had both fenders repaired, rolled and seam sealed as well as the entire rear subframe repaired and rust protected and rails replaced which ran me over $6k. One piece of advise I would offer is to see if you can find someone that guarantees their work because chances are you'll have issues with that extensive of a repair that will need to be redone or touched up within a year.

My passenger side fender is bubbling up and plan on stripping down to the bare metal and coat it until I get it to the body shop.

These are a list of body shops that might be able to help.

63 Autobody
Litho Customs
Jgarage
