Fuel pressure drop off.

How quickly should your fuel pressure drop off when the pump is stopped. I have a homemade double pumper and trying to see if the check valve is bad in the pump(s). My gauge drops rather quickly.

Ok mine at 2 min goes to 20 psi and at 9 min it goes to 0 . Trying to track down a lean issue and want to make sure that Is normal.

sounds normal. the drain back valves don't really hold pressure, they just keep the system from emptying.

Sounds good guys. I was just paranoid that I had a bad pump or leaking Injector. It's still in the 12s up top but I had it dead nuts at 11.8 last time I had the car out. It randomly dropped 20psi if pressure when I went to drive it but I found a broken spring in the regulator. Got it changed out and it actually holds pressure a longer now.
