Brushing the dust off

Hey all WOW is been along time since I have logged in on here 8+ years! Well around 8 years ago my 03' had a rod pass through the block, it got parked and life got busy. Now the time has come to pull it out of storage. I started digging out parts i had bought here and there including a stock short block with 40K. I also have some low millage Eagle H-Beams with JE pistons. As Im pulling this out I think to my self i should long on EvoM. After poking around a bit I see something's that kind of concern me as far as parts and what not. Now I sit here and wonder should I put this car back to stock and have a nice weekend cruiser or keep it the way it was headed? What's everyone's thoughts? I plan on keeping the car, maybe pass it to the kid if its cool enough when the time comes.

The car currently sits with and tuned on E85
Kelford 272/272 cams
GSC valve springs
FIC blumax1450's
Megan 02 housing
3" intercooler and piping - Don't remember the brand
Fuel pump- Again don't remember
No name intake
3" exhaust with downpipe
Evo 9 turbocharger
Tial 50mm BOV

Care to elaborate? whats the concern?

Personally, I'd stick with the stock shortblock, keep your AWHP under 400 and enjoy the hell out of it. All the mods you currently have should get you there.

People love stock block evos if you do choose to sell it. Keep it!

With the very limited cars I have had, and talking to other people that have had project performance cars, my vote would be keep it stock block and tuned for reliability. That has been my route for the past 14 years and I have had lots of trouble free miles.
IF it ever becomes a full on race car, by all means build away.
