I have a few excellent condition rims to sell, but I'm unsure of the current value. Ideas? They've been off the road for 15 years and have been checked by a tire shop, on a balance machine that measures axial and radial runout; they're excellent. I realize I could list them on Ebay, but would prefer to not- unless I can't sell them here. It looks like the X MR BBS rims sell on Ebay for $300-400 each used + shipping, but I didn't see any IX BBS in the completed/sold auctions. I bought them here to use as spares but never needed them; I think I paid $250 each plus shipping at that time.

 

IMHO: maybe 500/wheel?
Possibly more?

My reasoning would be that there are people who pay 2-3k for a premium set of wheels (for good reason). An excellent set of those BBS wheels has got to carry some weight. There are some people who are hell bent on absolute OEM cars and would be willing to pay a premium for those.

Uhh, yes the entire wheel. In one piece. Sheesh. I guess you're bored to have to get into semantics. And please spare me any more lessons in terminology. When someone lists a trunk lid for sale, and the factory calls it a "Deck, rear lid" in the parts list, or whatever, please correct them, even though everyone understands what they mean.

I'd like to hear, "I bought... or I sold an IX MR WHEEL recently for $XXX..." for actual info. And not terminology lessons. Anyway, I will list them in the classifieds when I have time to take pics.

Yep! Including this classic. That being said, I know times are more serious these days so I don't typically post humor online any more. I just thought we were all friends here, by now. If we can't laugh at ourselves then what's even the point, really?.

 

Are they painted diamond black or grey? Its funny how they were normal prices only a couple years ago and now people try to sell them for $400 per wheel. I have two sets and I will keep them until I get the JDM wheels I have been eyeing all these years.
