Post Evo or Japanese specialist in USA Georgia

Hey guys recently purchased an imported evo 4 in GA and wanted to know if there are any recommended shop that y’all know about to have work done. Recently went to a Eurocentric shop to do my post purchase inspection but they didn’t even recommend pads when I clearly needed them so I don’t really trust them anymore. I have a slight idle issue where it fluctuates between 8-900 rpm and wanna get it fixed (No driveability issues and I still hit target boost 10 psi) My zip is 30044 if anyone can help thank you so much.

that’s my girl

Love it

Pads and idle? If I was new to the platform, I'd be doing some first in searches in this forum and have a look at fixing it myself, it's half the fun with owning an Evo

Part of RHD ownership is adapting to the fact that your local garage has never seen one of these before and likely has no idea what to do with it, nor do they know what to do for parts. You therefore require a DIY mentality and a lot of reading to find solutions to these problems, but it's all doable. I don't have experience with the 4-6, but they have a lot in common with the 7-9 in the powertrain. If you use some google-fu to find common idle problems on Evos, you'll probably run into something that applies to your car. The best part? It's free.
