Tomei Oil Slicing Baffle plate

How many of you use tomei baffle plate? Does it do any benefits over oem unit? I had oem plate in my car for last 5 years with over 700whp but car was used mainly on the street no autocross and had no problems with oem plate. I am just wondering if I should go with tomei on new build. Thanks!

They're cheap enough, and do help keep oil in the pan. I have had one for some time and many others as well.

Thanks for answer. I was reading somewhere that someone was doing some testing that they are not doing any benefits but that might not be true, that's why I am asking for input from people that actually using them. Thanks a lot!

The Tomei windage tray is pretty nice and acts as a crank scraper, too (it wipes the oil off of the rotating crankshaft to keep the balance and prevent windage). The package will save a few horsepower over stock and while it may keep a tiny bit more oil in the pan and prevent the oil cloud around the crankshaft, it is not a replacement for oil pan baffle modifications that keep the oil pickup tube submerged. You can absolutely still run the pickup tube dry on a high-G corner with the Tomei kit in place.
