Clock Alternatives

I am trying to figure out something that I can put into the clock area. Weather it be a radar, a Gauge setup or anything else that may be useful. What has everyone changed their clock space too if you have?

it's my first 3d print design. the gauge pod was from the web. seem fine there, that gauge needed a new home since I'm required to add an oil pressure gauge. I added USB charging ports, then printed another one without

I replaced my clock with my FiTronic ethanol gauge. I threw a little red tint on it to match the gauge cluster too.

I would like an affordable gauge system like that for Boost, AFR, Ethanol. Unfortunately Zeitronix a lot for their setup.

Yea, plus the zetronix is a round gauge right?
If you already have gauges, you could build a custom display using an Audino or other microcontroller and display it all on the screen by reading the gauge serial or analog outputs. I was going to do this but found the AEM analog style gauges that I liked.

I am unsure how to do any of that lol. Zeitronix has the lcd display but the parts there listed to me for what I want to do was around $900.00

Yikes, that's pretty spendy.
If you google around, there are write ups on a few forums that walk through how to DIY it. It isn't super difficult.

This also used to be an option but it's sold out so I am unsure it will come back.

I haven't seen anything like that that uses aftermarket sensors as inputs except dash for an aftermarket ECU.

There is stuff like this around but it just uses OBD2 so it won't have access to the wideband unless you have it wired into the ECU.

I also found this while looking around, its pretty spendy but you could probably make this work with a bit of effort to get the mounting right.

if all else fails I’ll get the innovate gauge but do you know if apps on a android deck can see ethanol content and wideband if I had the sensors wired to the ecu? Next thoughts are a seicane android deck running some app that reads through the obd port.

In theory, if you have it wired into the ECU and setup the OBD2 requests properly, you should be able to display it through an android app as you stated. I have never tried that on mine but I can log ethanol content via EvoScan so thats the same thing.

I would love to have Evoscan on a headunit. In your theory it makes sense to be able to see anything that the ecu can see via obd gauges.

I have the remote valentine 1 display in the clock location. Fits great! I’ll throw a picture up when back from vacation.
