2002 EVO 7 manual swap

Hey there, So I have a 2002 Evo 7 GT-A (import) that I want to manual swap. I found a 2001 Evo 7 gsr (also an import) for parts and before I buy it I just want to ask and see if there's anyone on here with some knowledge.
Are the parts from these two cars compatible? I'm concerned about the engine to transmission fitment, CV axles, driveshaft, etc...I understand this is going to be quite an intense job.

Any tips or cautions? Also, where can I find torque specs? Thanks!

Parts should be compatible but ECU function will be different.

Hey, have a read here:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-evo-7-gt.html

Specifically this post: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ml#post7706088

Have to make a fitment in the firewall to mount the clutch pedal.

If you already have a GSR to pull parts from, you should have no issues. You will need a front left driveshaft as well.

Keep us posted, as more and more are doing this now. Much appreciated
