Evo 8 with Mitsubishi Mirage aluminum radiator

Does anyone ever tried and run Mirage aluminum radiator on evo 8? The reason I am asking because my radiator touching the turbo and I need slimmer one. Yes I know I can buy slim evo 4 5 6 radiator from stm but it is 899$. I found aluminum Mirage radiator for 150$ that is slimmer than my evo 8 aluminum radiator. It would be enough to clear the space between the turbo and radiator. I was reading somewhere that some people had overheating problem with mirage radiator. Thanks!

Is it bigger than the Civic rad? We can run those, though at this point I don't recall which gen Civic...
Does it show any mounting measurements?

i've got my old Mirage radiator on the shelf here, it is indeed very thin.
If you're running an aftermarket ECU, I would highly recommend putting a water temp sensor into the lower radiator hose.
I've done that for my Infinite Evo testing car, and it's great to see how much capacity there is in the cooling system.
Engine water temp will typically stay constant, as it's regulated by the thermostat.
But I can see the capacity of the cooling system by looking at the lower radiator temp. Driving to the track it's normally between 15-20c in the lower hose, as the engine load is low.

Some data here below from on track!
