Fuel Systems
Hey, just trying to see what people are using for their fuel setups in the 450-600whp range. i currently just have some ID1000's with a walbro 255 and the car made 400whp or so with that. currently im in the process of building my new engine and i was just trying to see what is overkill or not for the power im looking to make. any info of even pics would be super helpful
I'm right around 600whp on E85 and currently run dual 255s with a Hobbs switch and ID1700x injectors.
If I were starting from where you are, I would personally make whatever the 255/320 style is good for at leave it alone but I doubt that's what you'll do lol.
If I was going to go further, I'd do a 450 or hellcat pump setup with a rewire retaining the dual voltage setup with some ID1300x or ID1700x injectors for E85.
And my personal need to state that you should really think about how you'll use the car and what's important to you before going too wild. It's more important to build something that fits your use case rather than make the most power.

I currently make on the upper end of that range with a rewired walboro 450 and some FIC 1650's on gasoline. Really depends on the fuel you are using. I have a dual pump hanger and a second 450 ready to go in for when I switch to E85.
