I haven’t , but my thought process was on why would it run fine and then progressively have a leaning issue that got worse. I guess I should check that after the pump install.

I would start there even before you put the new pump in. Over time stuff builds up on the injectors. Specially if your running flex fuel, they say that black **** can be fixed with running pump gas through it a few times thats bs. I use to run 2 tanks of e85 and 2 tanks of 93 a month and my injectors are fairly new within a year or 2 and they were almost clogged even running fuel like that. I would start there being it would be a cheaper fix and you know for a fact that wont be the problem for a while.

yea my last few tanks were all pump 91. I just put e85 back in to test for map change and nothing. I can remove them and bench test spray.

Yeah cheap and easy way to test this theory and a lot easier then doing fuel pump. Just an easy way to be sure.

I replaced the fuel pump anyways since the old one was 8+ years old. Pulled it today and it was corroded . Thanks again!

injectors are back in, along with the new walbro 255. First off, the new fuel pump does NOT whine at all. Secondly, car idles smooth and drives well. Check out the flow sheet.

Wow big difference. I just had my 2600s done recently and I know after just a couple years of being in the car I had to have them cleaned and they were half clogged even with running pump gas a lot of the time Soni get it . Glad to see everything is all better.
