Hey evom community!,

Looking at the FP cast manifold with an FP Zero setup on an Evo 8. It's a SS housing with EWG out the hood. Also contemplating custom fab to route the exhaust out the hood along with the EWG.
Curious if anyone has ever done this or seen it be accomplished? Evo has PS and AC, with an ultra slim full-sized radiator so it's gonna be a pretty tight fit but hopefully doable.

That's going to be a better question for whoever is going to do your fab work, I think it will tight with the AC and PS but not impossible.

Hopefully someone with a more similar setup can chime in for you!

 

100% morrisonfab. Uncommon, but worth a shot vs going large frame turbo. The EWG might be in the way too but maybe with enough small bends and maneuvering it will fit like a tight shoe. Curious to see benefits on dyno comparisons too (if anyone has comparisons of hood exits vs downpipe catback in same conditions)

 

I know the morrisonfab folks, they do amazing work and I bet they can get it to work. You will not be disappointed. I do know they just closed orders for a bit so hopefully you got in before that or it might be a few months before you can order.

I think I saw something about open dumps vs recirc'd dumps in the dyno section but I am not sure if I have ever seen a full exhaust vs hood exit? There might be something over there.
