I searched and everything I came up with was for either an x or for carbon hoods. I have the stock hood, no accidents. When I close the hood it wont pull up at all but I can push it down a little. It causes the hood to rattle sometimes. I did notice there was a plastic piece that fits over the hood latch and mine is missing. I tried turning the hood adjusters up but all it did was misalign the hood. Any ideas?

by hood adjusters do you mean the Black rubber knobs that screw up and down above the headlight?

 

x2^ thats info needed. should take alot of slop out of it if done right. sometimes you can move the latch up and down. but isn't necessary if its never been wrecked.

 

Correct. Black rubber adjusters. To my knowledge those are the only adjusters for the hood as far as height and slop in the latch. I took them up and I wanna say the hood was finally tight, but the alignment was in turn way off.
