Aerocatch hood latches

I just got in my Aerocatch hood latches. I went with the top mounted, plus flush ones with locks.
I've seen plenty of write ups on how to install them and to measure one million times. My question is, what should I use to cut through the carbon fiber/fiber glass body of the hood. I was thinking of using a dremel with a diamond cutting wheel on it.
Any ideas?

Taping off the area on the top side will help keep burring and splintering to a minimum.

Curious, what was the loctite for, to fill gaps? I ask, for I just did mine as well...

Edit: sorry about posting non-evo photos.

Its to make sure that the screws and mounting plate don't loosen themselves over time.

Im reffering to the loctite on the bottom surface of the top latch flange. The hex-nuts are lock nuts themselves and are seated inside hex holes on the bottom flange. To prevent loosening of the nuts and/or bolts the benefit would be to apply loctite to the nuts and/or bottom surface of the countersunk bolt heads.

What was your intention Kevin Troy?

The instructions say to use silicone to fill gaps when mounting over radii, and this is what appears Kevin used Loctite for, I could be wrong.

I actually put the rtv (Loctite) to fill in the gaps and to prevent water and humidity while washing the car of getting in between the layers.

thanks to all your comments
