I dont mind wrecked EVO's (as long as the drivers/bystandards are OK!) because it opens up parts avail. for odd ball stuff.

If they consider that repariable I wonder what they consider totalled? The engine is moved over about a foot to the passanger side! Hell, with that much front end damage there is a good chance the block itself is damaged.

Sadly enough, thats a fairly easy repair if it took a majority of the damage in front of the strut towers.. Definitely not worth $15k, but I'd pay about $6500 for it..

Its a hard hit, but that damage was probably done at under 50mph..

Any of us who modify our cars heavily would have enough parts left laying around to put that thing back together.. LOL

Mine was considered totalled, even though mine didn't have NEARLY the damage the yellow one has.

I had a very minor front collision (pushed forward into the car in front of me by rear collision) and that minor front hit destroyed my stock FMIC. There is virtually zero protection for the FMIC.

And pushes insurance rates up again... and again.... and again.... and you hopefully get the idea. Not to mention that unless it's a single vehicle accident then someone who didn't deserve to be wrecked was drawn into it.

I'm sure you posted that without thinking about all the implications and don't really mean it.

Understand, that I didn't mean that outright. I'm well aware of the side effects incured from an accident.

I just like having used parts avail for off the wall stuff.
